Speaks Volumes.....

I have been going through my pictures from the beach, Cincy and Julianne's bday celebration (that is next) and I am mesmerized by this pic of Madeline....

it speaks volumes to my heart....
I wonder what she was thinking...
it shows the hurt that lives in her...
the deep thoughts she processes...
they are always deep thoughts...
ones you would never believe a 5 year old could think

My work as her mother is hard....
but I love her so deeply it hurts.......
she is worth more than she will ever be able to imagine!

  1. it is a wonder how deep they really do think. I often wonder what's going on in her little mind. Her thoughts are so different from our biological son's. He's carefree and in his happy little world. A lot of days are tough. Have you read the Connected Child by Karen Purvis? I ready it before we left for China, but our small group is doing the study now. It really a great study. she is so wise about children from hard places. It's really made me re-think some of the things I learned before we brought her home.
